This family-run company has offered China river cruises for years, and today it offers more than 100 vacations via motorcoach, rail, jet, helicopter and small ship. Tauck strives to offer guests the freedom to relax and travel as an individual. It avoids the use of name tags and doesn't issue company flight bags. Organized activities are balanced with ample leisure time so that guests can pursue their own interests. Whenever possible, Tauck provides participants with "freedom-of-choice" dining, which allows guests to dine a la carte from regular restaurant menus with whomever they want, at any time they want.

Tauck offers escorted tours to Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, the United States, Canada, South America and Europe.

Tours are classified according to the quality of amenities and accommodations and restaurants. Tauck World Discovery specializes in deluxe travel with tours that range from $200 to $400 per person, per day, plus airfare.
